La Ceiba is sourced from a collective of more than 40 indigenous Poqomam farmers from Palin in Guatemala. 



$1 from this purchase will go back to La Ceiba to aid in efforts to build up this farming community as they get into their third year of exporting green coffee. The indigenous Poqomam people have cultivated these beans for the past 170 years. Today, with the help of Farm 2 Cup, these growers have become La Ceiba co-op, taking control of the farming and distribution process to revitalize the coffee growing practices for their community.

*this co-op is uniquely situated between two active volcanoes Pacaya and Fuego, each erupting 1-2 times a year adding fertilization to the soil and complexity to the fruit.
